TFM300 Triple Frequency Monitor is purpose designed to aid the manual adjustment of engine speed in Power-Take-Off (PTO) applications.
It utilises a zero crossing detector for high noise immunity and a microprocessor to accurately sense two frequency thresholds, High and Low, decoding these to indicate three frequency bands to include Normal.
Typically mounted in the alternator switch-box, with the lamp outputs wired via a suitable connector to an external box. This box can then hang in the tractor cab as required enabling the operator to adjust the vehicles’ throttle whilst observing the three lamps, to accurately set the alternator frequency.
An external box, fully assembled and wired with 5 metres of cable to a water proof connector, together with the mating part and full fitting instructions is available to order. Contact us for further information.
